Ascension Bay, Mexico - June 13, 2012
I'm sorry I didn't get the daily reports up on our website like I'd planned, but for some reason, I couldn't get the pictures to load correctly to our site while I was down there. However, I was able to post daily reports on our Facebook Page, so if you want to see a lot more pics and detailed reports, check out the McLellan's Fly Shop Facebook Page. A great big "THANK YOU!" goes out to all of the guides and staff at Pesca Maya! We had a great week, and we can't wait to get back down there next...

Ascension Bay, Mexico
We’re headed south next week for our fifth annual hosted trip to Ascension Bay, and my plan this year is to post daily reports from Pesca Maya on our website and facebook page, so keep an eye out for those. Also, I wanted to let everyone know that while we’re gone, Ryan will be holding down the fort, and he’ll have the shop open from 11am to 6pm June 4-8 (Monday thru Friday), regular hours (10-5) on Saturday—sorry for any inconvenience! Hopefully, the next time you see this crab, it will be hanging from the lips of a palometa!
Taneycomo - May 24, 2012
The dry-fly fishing at Taneycomo was great today! My buddy Loren and I drove up there early to get in a half day of fishing, and it was well worth the trip! We caught several feisty rainbows on Turk’s Tarantulas and various beetle patterns—black seemed to be their favorite color!
