Twin Bridges - April 2, 2012
White bass! Over the past couple of weeks, the white bass fishing has been great in the Twin Bridges Area! Both Richland Creek and the White have been providing good action for whites, walleye and hybrids! Clouser Minnows in bright colors like chartreuse are still working well, but over the last couple of days (as the water has cleared) grey and white as well as all white Clousers have been hooking the most fish. It won’t last long, so be sure and take advantage of this local fishery while you can! The things we do to catch a few fish!...
Twin Bridges - March 13, 2012
As most of you know, the White Bass have been a little bit early this year, with all of the reports of fish being caught having been males. Ethan sent us this picture of a nice chunky female, which is one of the first fat females reported from the Twin Bridges area!
Twin Bridges - March 6, 2012
We are getting more and more reports of White Bass being caught around the Twin Bridges! Scott sent us these the other day with a report: "I fished the mouth of Richland Creek today using a size 6 clouser minnow, blue/chartreuse. Caught about a dozen or so small males." Thanks for the report, Scott! Get out there and fish when you can!

ALERT!!! Stop everything you are doing and go White Bass fishing! With the warm winter we have had, the water temperatures at Twin Bridges and nearby tributaries are near 56 degrees already, and the Whites have been charging up the river by the droves. Stephen sent us this picture of a small male, and reported that he caught around 15 more fish, as well as some nice walleye.
A River in the Ozarks - April 13, 2010
White bass fishing was a little slow last weekend for some folks, though a few we know had their best days ever. Go figure. We're blaming it on the cold snap Thursday night. Things should be leveled out and back to steady catching by now. Remember, those whities will be back in the lake before long, so get out as often as possible. You never know-- you might hook up with something special.
