Little Red River - January 26, 2011
Visited the Little Red River for the weekend and had two great days of fishing! This time of the year, the name of the game is small and slow. We fished some pretty tight water with small flies, size 20 olive midges and Red Ass soft hackles.
The shoals and riffles were pretty crowded with other anglers, so we fished the less obvious holding water, concentrating on the slower moving holes and deeper water. For more information on our trip visit our website tosfly.
Mike, thanks for all the advice on the Little Redit all paid off!
