It's hot and the smallmouth fishing can be tough, but we figured out how to catch them...
Wear a bigger hat!
Well, that and fishing early morning or late evening. Also, concentrate your efforts in or near moving water.
And use a Spey rod.
Okay, that won't really help, but it sure is fun.
