Elk River - March 15, 2012
In the midst of the White Bass run, I have had smallmouth on my mind (go figure). Therefore, I twisted a few arms to come with me up to the Elk for an afternoon float in search of some Smallie action. Turns out, we found it, and there were a lot of big fish in the river. Although we didn't land anything huge, we did get several fish this size to the boat, as well as quite a few more smaller ones.
