If you haven't checked the water conditions in the last couple of weeks, you may not have noticed that Bull Shoals has been giving up several full weekends worth of low water, as well as the Norfork! The fishing has been stellar, with many solid browns, cutties, and rainbows coming to hand on caddis pupa patterns, various midges, and even caddis dries when the hatch really kicks off! I have had the pleasure of guiding Andy and Becky several times in the last couple of months, and they can't get enough! There's nothing like finding a pod of browns on...

Made it over to the White to fish with a friend for the day and had an awesome day bangin the banks with streamers. The browns are really starting to chase streamers consistently in the high water, and we boated around 20 fish in the 16-21 inch range like this guy. Jason caught his personal best fish when this big hooked jaw male hammered his streamer off an undercut bank! If you have a boat, or can get your hands on one, get over to the White or Norfork for some of this awesome streamer action! If you have any...

Swinging Bridge down to Winkley Shoals seemed to be holding some pretty good fish and the fishing was active day and night. We caught most of these trout on very light tippets and size 18 grey sow bugs, fished in the deeper holes during the day. Mike K. Just one of these fish would have been a Trip Fish! Looks like the night fishing was pretty good too! Mike and the boys fished hard day and night—sleeping is definitely overrated on a fishing trip! Just a...

Justin and crew got in some dynamite night fishing on the White last weekend! They fished all the way through day break and into the next day--now that is a good kind of tired! With all of the low water recently below Bull Shoals Dam, there have been lots of wade-fishing opportunities. Watch the graphs, and if you see a six- to eight-hour-plus window of no generation, head to the river! With that amount of time, you can river hop and stay with the low water all day!
